Common Questions
Most patients report minimal discomfort. We use local anesthesia (lidocaine) at the entry and exit points. You may feel some pressure during the threading, but it is generally well-tolerated.
Social downtime is minimal (1-3 days). You may experience minor swelling, bruising, or skin dimpling at the entry points, which typically resolves within a week.
InstaLift uses 'cones' rather than 'barbs' and is made of PLGA. Cones provide stronger anchoring for lifting heavier tissue, while PLGA stimulates more durable collagen than PDO. It is generally superior for lifting.
Results typically last 18 to 24 months. While the sutures dissolve after about 6 months, the new collagen structure they created continues to support the skin.
